~For the safety of our children, and in order to present a positive image of homeschooling, and HOPE, (remembering most importantly that we are called to be examples of Christ) we request that the following etiquette guidelines be read, and discussed, with your children prior to attending any function that is being hosted by HOPE~
1.) ~ Parents ~
Please remain with your child to oversee, and ensure, proper behavior!
2.) ~ Everyone ~
Please recognize the person organizing the event as the leader!
(expect admonishment of the children should a situation warrant it in that leader's view)
3.) ~Everyone ~
Please realize that we are all volunteers
&
we're all doing the best we can with what we have at our disposal!
4.) ~ Parents ~
Please remind your child/ren of proper behavior when attending events as a group.
(We realize kids get excited when they are together and want them to remember that if you, the parents,
don't approve of this behavior at home we probably won't approve either!)
5.) ~ Children ~
Please
note that running, jumping, chasing, teasing, or yelling, is NOT acceptable behavior on a field trip!
...Bottom Line...
Be respectful of the person and place hosting the event!
